Bluebeard was created for Picture this competition. As this fairy tale is grim and mainly three colour dominate - black, white and red, it was decided to screen print illustrations. In order to keep it more mysterious characters are not fully revealed but only parts of them are seen. Screen printing gave the ability to make the illustrations stand out more and give a nice finished touch.
