A Clockwork Orange book cover was created for Penguin Random House UK Design Award 2016 competition. With the chosen design I wanted to show two sides of the main character Alex - violent and innocent sides. One thing is connecting both of the sides - mechanism. To show the complexity of the book I chose to build the whole image in layers. The typography that I chose represents the communistic part of the book.
