This project was undertake due to the lack of educational picture books dealing with this subject matter - autism. The book is aimed towards children that do not have autism but know someone that has. The bright colours and texture represents how autistic child sees his world. His face is not revealed because children with autism tend to avoid direct look. Foam stamps were used in order to balance the busyness of mixed media.
